Biography

Yerui Luo is an emerging digital artist specializing in 3D software and digital painting. Their work explores the poignant intersections of life, death, and the human experience, often through the lens of post-apocalyptic themes. With a focus on immersive storytelling and deep emotional resonance, Yerui's creations invite viewers to engage with digital art in new and meaningful ways.

As a junior at NYU Tisch, majoring in Interactive Media Arts, Yerui is at the forefront of blending art and technology. Their academic background fuels innovative projects, such as 'Transient Realities: Navigating Change,' showcased at the Blanc Gallery. This mixed reality experience, leveraging Unreal Engine 5 and Meta Quest 3, immersed viewers in a post-apocalyptic scene that interacted with their real-world surroundings.

Yerui's talent and commitment to artistic excellence have earned them recognition, including Silver Key awards in the Mixed Media category from the 2021 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for their pieces "Mole" and "Crotalus."

Beyond digital art, Yerui is passionate about creating funerary items that bring warmth and meaning to life's most challenging moments. This unique perspective infuses their work with an emotional depth that resonates on multiple levels.
